Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Eustis, FL
Duration: 3+ months
Shift Timing: Weekdays 530a-330p Saturdays 630a-1230p
Job Summary:
The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, professional, and confidential environment while delivering excellent customer service. The PSR I must follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood collection (including pediatric and geriatric patients).

Process and prepare specimens according to standard procedures.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Provide professional, courteous patient service.

Follow safety, compliance, and confidentiality guidelines.

Work independently under minimal supervision.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Minimum 6 months of direct phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred).

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Strong data entry and keyboard skills.

Customer service experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:

Must live within 20–25 minutes of the worksite (include home city/commute time on resume).

Reliable personal transportation required.
-
Flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call if needed.

Must be punctual and available for full shifts.

If currently a student, schedule must not conflict with shift hours.
