Shift:
- Monday – Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Job Overview:
- Responsible for meeting daily customer demand and production schedules.
- Ensures safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.
- Assembles and tests medical devices using specialized equipment, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Manufacturing Lead and/or Specialist to meet production schedules.
- Participate in basic problem-solving activities to maintain stable operations.
- Report quality, process, equipment, material, or labor issues to Manufacturing Lead or Production Supervisor.
- Observe, maintain, coordinate, and complete standard work.
- Participate in DBS concepts and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support 5S practices.
- Actively assist in product processing as part of the production team.
- Follow documented company policies and Quality System procedures.
- Complete required regulatory documentation accurately and timely.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Experience in medical device manufacturing.
- MicroProduct experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in environments with adhesives, solvents, and chemicals.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, and twisting.
- Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to observe and inspect small parts for extended periods.
- Close vision and color vision required.
- Willingness and ability to comply with controlled environment requirements regarding apparel and personal hygiene.
