Shift:Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm Rotational Saturday
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is a vital frontline team member who provides exceptional service to patients during their lab visits. The PSR I performs phlebotomy duties including drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring all procedures are done accurately and safely. This role supports both clinical and forensic collection tasks while upholding the highest standards of patient confidentiality, professionalism, and care.
Key Responsibilities:

Collects high-quality blood specimens from patients in a safe and professional manner.

Explains procedures clearly and compassionately to patients, helping build trust and ease.

Prepares and processes specimens following standard operating procedures.

Maintains accurate documentation and labeling of samples.

Follows established guidelines for patient safety and infection control.

Upholds confidentiality standards in handling patient information.

Demonstrates leadership behaviors and commitment to process excellence.

Maintains a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Positively represents the company to patients, clients, and the general public.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent – Required
-
Medical training (e.g., Medical Assistant or Paramedic) – Preferred
-
Phlebotomy Certification – Preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
Experience:
-
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience – Required
-
1+ years phlebotomy experience – Preferred
-
Customer service experience in retail, service, or healthcare – Preferred

Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills – Required
Key Competencies:

Strong phlebotomy skills, including with pediatric and geriatric patients

Ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
-
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Flexible and available based on operational needs (including weekends and holidays)

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy
