Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:

• Provide support and be a technical expert for documentation management in Veeva.
• Support will look like remote phone calls/work to support troubleshooting.
• It is unlikely, but possible there will be an infrequent ask for on-site visits (Family Care sites: Albany, GA; Box Elder, UT; Cape Girardeau, MO; Green Bay, WI; Mehoopany, PA; Oxnard, CA), i.e. a 2-3 day workshop to support a step change in progress.

Safety and On-Site Requirements:

• If in plant, the individual will need to be able to comply with all safety PPE and safe practice procedures, including but not limited to hearing protection, eye protection, bump cap or hard hat, cut resistant gloves, and steel toes and the ability to lock out and enter equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The individual will be training and providing support for using Veeva to include navigation, searching for documents, etc. targeting the on-the-floor operators and some of the operations leadership.
• Supporting accurate meta data including updating document ownership to reflect current resources.
• Culling through the documents in partnership with the sites to eliminate duplicates and identify the best document to keep.
• Flagging any changes/additions needed upon combining to the appropriate zone owner to support the document update.
• Partnering with Zone Owners to help set up Veeva manufacturing EO binders by zone that sites can leverage for easy one stop shops.
• Creating standard naming nomenclature for all documents to follow.

Musts:

• 10+ years Converting experience.
• Technical expert on Veeva system and ability to become administrator level resource.
• Familiar with searching and navigation in Veeva.
• Ability to identify meta data discrepancies and resolve.
• Ability to partner with resources to ensure equipment is mapped to the correct version.
• Knowledge of binders and how to set up an effective Equipment Owner binder.
• Ability to evaluate documents for recommended improvements upon consolidation and project manage the documentation update process.
• Ability to train others either in classroom or remote on Veeva system navigation.
• Ability to meet the converting essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations (in the event of the need to visit a plant).

Additional Qualifications:

• Familiarity with all four converting technology platforms.
• Familiarity with systems: AM, ECR’s, CPE, CIL, CL, TBO, DH, etc.
• 15-20+ years of Converting experience.
