Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Muskogee, OK 74401
Duration: 3+ Months contract (Possibilities of Extension)

Pay Rate: $50/hr. on W2

Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist, registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), provides cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients. The therapist follows protocols approved by the medical staff and departmental policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic care. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, ventilator management, airway maintenance, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain patient airways and manage ventilators, including weaning protocols.
• Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations as needed.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
• Collect and analyze blood gases.
• Provide patient care using CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatments.

 
Facility Requirements / Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years recent experience with ventilators, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy, ET tube, CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatments.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (must be attached to submission).
• Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist (RT) license (must be attached to resume).
• ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission).
