- Proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI
- Knowledge of CARDINAL (HRIS) is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
Human Resources Business Systems Analyst
Role & Responsibilities:
- Analyze business analysis artifacts to develop and maintain business requirements, collaborating with the IT development team to ensure systems are aligned. Write user stories for the Scrum team.
- Maintain the OEBS product backlog to ensure a continuous flow of tasks for the development team.
- Coordinate project tasks with stakeholders, team members, and other internal or external parties.
- Create test plans and test scripts, conduct user acceptance testing, document test results, and work with IT staff to resolve identified issues.
- Develop end-user training materials and conduct training sessions.
- Provide application support to agency users by troubleshooting data entry/application errors, isolating problems, determining solutions, and implementing resolutions.
- Use data extraction tools to gather and provide data to internal and external partners based on specified criteria.
- Identify data quality issues, determine root causes, and develop action plans to address them.
- Offer end-user support by responding to user questions, reporting system deficiencies, and working with technical staff to resolve issues.
- Address outstanding service requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor HR Help issues daily and provide prompt resolutions.
- Assist with data clean-up and review digital scanning work products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, Licensure, and Certification:
- Ability to successfully interact in a team environment and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, across all levels of an organization.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is desirable.
- Human Resources experience is a plus.
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- CBAP or CSPO certification is desirable.
Required Skills & Years of Experience:
- Business and systems analysis, design techniques, and product development and/or Agile concepts. Required: 7 Years
- Eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements; analyzing system issues; business reporting; and relationship building. Required: 7 Years
- Working on IT development projects, including preparing documentation such as use cases, current/proposed process workflows, and data flows. Required: 7 Years
- Working on IT development projects, including process re-engineering studies, functional specifications, and training materials. Required: 7 Years
- Working on IT development projects, including supporting development and testing activities and clarifying requirements. Required: 7 Years
- Working on IT development projects, including performing or managing user acceptance testing and supporting business technology systems end-users. Required: 7 Years
- Developing SQL or other data analysis tools. Required: 7 Years
- Proficient with Excel and/or Power BI. Required: 7 Years
