Job Title: Associate Quality Control Laboratory Technologist
Location: Mountain Lakes, NJ
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $25.68/Hr. on W2
Shift: Regular hours will be 9am to 5pm however there will be training period upto 2months and during training shift timing will 7am to 3.30 pm
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Perform routine and non-routine qualification of raw material, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of analytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of test results.
• Interpret test results accurately and promptly, identifying any deviations from specifications or quality standards.
• Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies and document all quality control activities, instrument and equipment verifications, procedural calibrations, and maintenance performed.
• Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensuring other assigned tasks are completed as necessary.
• Perform other delegated tasks, as required.
• Please Note: Regular hours will be 9am to 5pm however there will be training period upto 2months and during training shift timing will 7am to 3.30 pm
Skills:
• Experience in ELISA, IFT, Blot, and other Microbiology & Immunology testing principles & techniques
• Previous experience working in a quality control laboratory within a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of quality assurance principles, GMP/GLP guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e.g. FDA, ISO).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all work activities.
• Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Manual dexterity is required to operate and manipulate equipment.
• Frequent standing and walking around the lab.
• Long hours of sitting on the computer might be required.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or related field.
• 2 years of lab experience would be preferred.
• Some QC experience would be preferred.
• Pattern reading would also be a plus
