Shift::8:30am-5:30pm/Central M, T, Thu, F & Wed: 8:30am-1:30pm
Job Overview: The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the primary point of contact for patients, offering assistance during their health visits or while they make critical health decisions. The PSR II is responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, preparing them for lab testing, and ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction: Create a welcoming and trustworthy environment while explaining procedures to patients and performing blood draws safely and accurately.

Blood Collection & Processing: Draw quality blood specimens, including both forensic and clinical samples, following established procedures.

Verification & Documentation: Verify patient details, ensure correct labeling of specimens, and maintain accurate records.

Environment Management: Ensure a safe, professional, and efficient work environment.

Leadership & Process Excellence: Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a focus on confidentiality, accuracy, and process improvement.

Location Flexibility: May be assigned to work at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations as needed.
Job Requirements:

Ability to perform high-quality work quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Independent work with minimal supervision.

Proficient in phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Flexible hours, including availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Good judgment and decision-making skills based on established guidelines.

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record, if required.

Willing to travel and work across multiple locations with minimal notice.

Strong multitasking skills in high-volume environments.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Required Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Medical Training: Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Certifications: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience:
-
3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
-
2+ years in a Patient Service Center setting preferred.

Experience in customer service and/or retail/service preferred.
-
Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
