Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Job Location: Bingham Farms, MI
Job Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)

 
Job Summary:

• Responsible for preparing, validating and analyzing financial information; preparing journal entries; maintaining fixed asset records; reconciling fixed asset and other general ledger account balances on a monthly basis; work closely with other departments to assist with fixed asset and other financial issues.
• This person will be doing journal entries, performance narratives, budgeting, but they need someone who is strong on the analytics side, that is the most important part.
• This is the Dialysis division of Client and they have to be able to tell the story of how the program is performing Must have strong Excel skills PeopleSoft experience would be great Someone who can help with Process Improvement would be great Experience in budgeting would be helpful Being able to switch from one task to another is important

• Prepare fixed asset account reconciliations, investigating and clearing any reconciling items
• Review fixed asset project and purchase requests for proper accounting treatment and compliance with System’s capital policy.
• Work closely with departments in recognizing asset retirements timely
• Provide support for internal and external audits
• Assist in footnote preparation for quarterly/annual financial statements.
• Perform other responsibilities or assignments as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Must have strong Excel
