How will your role help us transform hope into reality?
This position offers the opportunity to impact a growing portfolio of targeted therapies in a fast-paced and innovative research environment. We are searching for a dynamic Associate Biology Scientist with experience interrogating cellular and molecular mechanisms as they relate to kinase target pathway modulation, off-target liabilities, and resistance.
What will you do?
Independently, develop, optimize, and proactively troubleshoot cellular screening assays.
Responsible for generating, processing, interpreting, and presenting data in cross functional team meetings
Proactively employ cell and molecular biology techniques, including gene targeting approaches and small molecule inhibition, to dissect mechanism of action.
Independently design, execute and document experiments to evaluate target dependency, off target liabilities, phenotypic responses and identifying resistance mechanisms.
Regularly share and present data with team members.
What minimum qualifications do we require?
MS/BS in oncology, cellular biology, molecular biology, or related discipline with 1+ years of industry or relevant research experience is required.
What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate?
Experience in developing and optimizing cell-based assays in multiple platforms (for example CTG, HTRF, AlphaLISA , FC, Jess-WB, NanoBret, Nanostring).
Experience with different molecular and cellular biology techniques (such as Western Blot).
Experience with genome editing (CRISPR or si/shRNA) for engineering cell line models is a plus.
Familiar with tumor models and establishing PK/PD/efficacy relationships and delivering PD readouts by western blots for in vivo tumor models.
Experience with standard software analytical tools, xlsx, Prism, or other synergy software.
Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent documentation and organizational skills.
A team player, who listens effectively, invites response and discussion.
