Day To Day Responsibilities:
This will be a M-F role preferably in a hybrid or onsite model. Will include taking photos to include in documentation. Content will be provided by engineering and operations but the individual in this role will work to get all materials into the proper format so that it is most effective and useable for operators.
Location: Newton, NC (Hybrid)
Contract: 06+ Month Contract with possible extension
Job Description:
- Manage a list of controlled documents to be updated or created.
- Work with Lead trainers and Engineers to determine content of each document.
- Create or update required documents by collating the information provided by the trainers and engineers.
Experience:
- I would like someone with experience as a technical writer. Working on manufacturing instructions is desirable, but not required.
- The candidate needs to have expertise with Word and be fluent in PowerPoint, Excel, and able to do minor photography.

Day To Day Responsibilities:
- Work with engineering staff and ops training staff to support creation of manufacturing instructions
- Provide documentation on new equipment and processes
- Manage list of documents that need creation or updates
- Take and edit photos of control panels and equipment for inclusion in written instructions.
- Two-year associate degree or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office is a must
- Manufacturing experience preferred
