Pay rate: $27.20/hr. on W2

Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company to patients, providing essential support through specimen collection and lab testing preparation. The PSR I ensures a positive patient experience by drawing quality blood samples safely and accurately, creating a trusted and professional environment. This role emphasizes process excellence, confidentiality, and leadership in patient care.
 
Essential Responsibilities:

• Performs daily activities under the supervision of the area supervisor, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintains a safe and professional work environment.
• Confidently performs both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation as required.
• Promotes a positive and professional image of the organization to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.
• Communicates procedures clearly to patients and ensures comfort during blood draws.

 
General Responsibilities:

• Performs other duties as assigned.

 
Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience required.
• One (1+) year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

 
Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training (e.g., medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

 
Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.
• Ability to produce high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
