Contract Type: 13 weeks
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 40 hours/week | 8 hours/day
Hourly rate: $18/hr. on W2
Role Overview:
The Supply Distribution Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of medical supplies, equipment, gas tanks, linens, and other essential materials across various clinical and support departments. This position supports efficient healthcare operations by managing the receiving, storing, and delivery processes, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring accurate documentation and sanitation of workspaces.

Department: Storeroom – Stat Stores
Contract Type: 13 weeks
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 40 hours/week | 8 hours/day

Role Overview:
The Supply Distribution Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of medical supplies, equipment, gas tanks, linens, and other essential materials across various clinical and support departments. This position supports efficient healthcare operations by managing the receiving, storing, and delivery processes, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring accurate documentation and sanitation of workspaces.
Key Responsibilities:

Receiving & Documentation:
- Accept deliveries at the receiving dock and enter them into the Material Management system.
- Receive and logged gas cylinders (e.g., oxygen) and deliver them as needed.
- Ensure all transactions are documented in accordance with department policies.

Delivery & Distribution:
- Transport and deliver materials to appropriate locations; obtain required signatures.
- Handle urgent “stat” delivery requests efficiently.
- Distribute clean linens and retrieve soiled linens (MSDUS – PACC only).
- Transport lab specimens and reports, mail, and instruments (MSDUS – PACC only).
- Move small equipment and furnishings between departments as needed.

Inventory & Stocking:
- Store, rotate (FIFO method), and replenish supplies across clinics and nursing units.
- Monitor and maintain correct inventory levels using handheld/computer systems.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and replenish supplies as necessary.
- Fill supply requisitions and restock storeroom shelves (MSBI - Petrie only).

Sanitation & Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the receiving and storage areas.
- Remove empty boxes, pallets, and totes as required.

Other Duties:
- May perform additional tasks assigned to support department operations.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and handle heavy packages

Skills:
- Basic computer literacy (for inventory systems)
- Familiarity with hospital supply chain operations a plus
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
