Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Little Rock, AR
Duration: 3 Months+
Shift: Days/Nights (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM / 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend
Weekly Per Diem: Available for travelers
Facility: Long-Term Acute Care Hospital
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care in line with NBRC standards.
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures.
- Administer medicated aerosol treatments and maintain airway patency.
- Manage ventilators and perform intubations and arterial line insertions.
- Conduct pulmonary function testing and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
- Perform and analyze arterial blood gas (ABG) samples for clinical assessment.
Qualifications:
- Active RRT certification from the NBRC (must be submitted with application).
- Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based respiratory therapy experience.
- Valid Arkansas RT license (required at submission).
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications from AHA (all must be submitted).
