Your Role:
As an HR Generalist, you will be an integral part of the Life Science HR team, supporting our operations across the United States. You will be based in Burlington, MA, and report directly to the Head of HR Business Partners. Your primary responsibility will be to support business leaders on key employee lifecycle topics while deploying, implementing, and communicating HR Portfolio Solutions.
As an HR Generalist, you will:
Deliver operational people solutions and support for all employee lifecycle processes in collaboration with Solutions Partners, leveraging the existing solutions portfolio and frameworks.
Deploy and implement HR solutions, including onboarding, people development, compensation and benefits, and labor relations, in alignment with responsible solution owners.
Translate business requirements and the broader market by partnering with U.S. and Global leadership, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and implementing strategies effectively.
Consult with line managers, providing enablement on HR Portfolio Solutions to shape the desired talent and performance culture across the U.S. and drive necessary change.
Assure strategic alignment and successful collaboration with critical internal stakeholder groups.
Leverage Client internal HR services colleagues for the completion of transactional tasks.
Educate and promote manager self-service capabilities.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience (Employee Relations, HR Compliance, and/or Business Partner)
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrable track record of successful collaboration and communication in a cross-functional and multicultural setting.
Solution- and future-oriented thinking.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to translate complex information into succinct and impactful communication.
Proficient in applying effective communication techniques, engaging in focused dialogue, and demonstrating good listening skills.
Capability to communicate with small and large groups at all organizational levels and handle unexpected questions and challenges during presentations.
Solid understanding of employee relations principles, practices, methods, and programs.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws, regulations, procedures, and standards.
Ability to apply knowledge for critical decision-making while ensuring legally sound solutions that mitigate risk.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Position may require some regional travel.
