Job Title: Master Electrician
Location: Quincy, MA 02171
Duration: 12 Month+ – Contract to Hire

Pay Range: $64 - $75/Hour. on W2
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Master Electrician with strong facilities or industrial experience to lead and support key initiatives across our electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will manage projects, oversee energy systems, and play a vital role in maintaining safe and efficient site operations. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for individuals looking to transition into a permanent role.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage facilities upgrades, renovations, and energy efficiency projects
• Maintain and troubleshoot high and low voltage systems, including:
  • 1.5 MW supply site
  • Generators
  • Fire pumps
  • Substations
• Oversee solar energy systems (1.3 MW rooftop) and coordinate with vendors
• Lead electrical projects and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain detailed logs, schematics, and power monitoring via sub-meter systems
• Act as point of contact for vendor coordination and electrical troubleshooting
• Participate in on-call rotation (every 3–4 weeks after 6 PM, compensated at $20/day)

• Valid Master Electrician License (Required)

• Minimum 5 years of electrician experience
• Strong background in facilities or industrial settings (mandatory)
• Experience with commercial-level generators
• Skilled in reading electrical drawings/schematics
• Proficient with high and low voltage systems (down to 24V)
• Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Solid knowledge of local/state electrical codes and their application
• Proven experience working with and managing vendors

• Familiarity with fire protection systems
• Knowledge of building automation systems (e.g., Schneider, Wattstopper, Synapse)
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• CMMS proficiency in tools such as ServiceZone, BlueMountain, or Maximo
