Duties:
- Responsible for planning and preparing for the surgical procedure and assisting the surgeon.
- Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and assembling scheduled and emergency case carts.
- Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
Requirements:
- Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) preferred but not required.
- BLS certification required.
- High Scholl Graduate or GED.
