Job Description:
High Level Project Overview:
- We are looking for a strategic and highly skilled Test Automation Lead to head the design, implementation, and enterprise-wide adoption of test automation frameworks using Tricentis TOSCA, qTest, Azure DevOps, and Jira. This role is pivotal to driving quality engineering transformation and enabling teams to deliver high-quality software at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks using Tricentis TOSCA.
- Establish and promote best practices for test automation, test data management, and test case design across teams.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, ensuring seamless execution and reporting.
- Leverage qTest for test management, traceability, and reporting, ensuring alignment with business and compliance needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across QA, development, and product teams to drive automation adoption and continuous improvement.
- Integrate test automation with Jira to manage test-related tasks, defects, and user stories, ensuring transparency and traceability.
- Mentor and train QA engineers and developers on automation tools, frameworks, and strategies.
- Monitor and report on automation coverage, effectiveness, and ROI to leadership.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues across environments.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test automation and quality engineering.
Required Years of Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in software testing focused on test automation using Tricentis TOSCA.
- 3+ years of experience in a Test Automation lead/architect role
Top Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in software testing focused on test automation using Tricentis TOSCA.
- Hands-on experience with qTest for test management and reporting.
- Deep expertise in Tricentis TOSCA including model-based test automation, test case design, and execution.
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD integration and pipeline automation.
- Proficiency in Jira for agile project tracking and defect management.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and SDLC.
- Ability to lead and influence teams in a matrixed environment.
- Experience in enterprise-scale automation transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with performance and security testing tools.
- Experience with medium/large web applications, SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise platforms.
