must live 100 miles away
Shift Time: midnight shift, to start at 11 PM and work the usual 8.5 hours
Days: Monday through Friday, possible weekends in case of emergency
One year of Blood Bank experience required
Minimum 2 years acute care experience required
Bachelor's Degree required
Training in a qualified Medical Technology Program
Registration ASCP or Equivalent Board of Registry
This position provides examination and test performance on human specimens for purposes of obtaining information for the diagnosis, treatment of monitoring of patients; or for providing information to others who will diagnose and treat patients.
Responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and results reporting. Performs laboratory analysis and administrative tasks associated with clinical assessment of patients. Performs highly complex testing and coordinates teaching of Clinical Laboratory Science and medical students, residents, fellows, and other members of hospital. Execute tasks required to maintain accreditation with JCAHO, CAP, DCRA, AABB, and FDA
