Quality Systems Analyst

Position Overview:

The Quality Systems Analyst / Application Developer will design, implement, and support Quality Management ETQ solutions for Client manufacturing plants globally. This role involves collaborating with business leaders, end-users, and IT teams to Product, develop, implement, and maintain standardized solutions. The candidate will also identify and implement best practices for system design, development, and support, primarily using ETQ Reliance. Strong communication with IT peers and business professionals is required.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and support Enterprise Digital Manufacturing Systems, focusing on Quality Management Systems (QMS) using ETQ Reliance.

  • Identify best practices and ensure solutions align with Industry/Manufacturing 4.0 strategies.

  • Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, define, develop, and support complex manufacturing applications.

  • Promote standardization across divisions and instances in line with industry best practices.

  • Maintain regular communication with internal customers, providing timely updates and issue resolution.

  • Stay current as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specific areas of technology and expertise.

  • Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications.

  • Assist in data migration from legacy systems to new solutions.

  • Provide support and troubleshooting of IT systems and data interfaces.

  • Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.




Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree minimum required.

  • 2+ years of experience as an application developer.

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

  • Experience with object-oriented programming (.NET, Python).

  • SQL scripting and experience with relational databases (SQL Server).




Required Skills:

  • Hands-on application development experience with configuration and customization.

  • Object-oriented programming (.NET, Python).

  • SQL scripting and relational database management (SQL Server).

  • Strong verbal and written communication; able to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Time management and organizational skills; able to handle multiple tasks and estimate effort accurately.

  • Ability to work independently to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and document system requirements.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.




Desired Skills:

  • Application developer experience with ETQ Reliance (configuration and customization).

  • Understanding of quality processes: Document Control, Change Management, Audits, CAPA, etc.

  • FDA validation experience.

  • Basic project management experience.

  • Server management and control of hosted support applications.

  • Experience with REST APIs and API management solutions (e.g., MuleSoft).

  • Experience with Apache Tomcat.
