Endoscopy Tech 1
Endoscopy Tech – Travel Contract
Location: Frisco, TX
Length: 13 Weeks
Start: Immediate (Backfill – must be credentialed and cleared to start ASAP)
Travel: Yes
Shift: AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8s)
Call: Required 12–14 days per month (includes weekends)
Interview: Phone/Virtual
Temp to Perm: Temp
Specialty: Gastroenterology
Scrub Color: Navy or Black
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of Endoscopy experience

BLS Certification (AHA only)
-
Experience with ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, Food bolus, GI bleed, stent placement, dilations, bronchoscopy
Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists with technical procedures, patient care services, and related duties.
Essential Duties:

Assist physicians during procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions

Operate and maintain endoscopy equipment safely

Prepare and set up procedure rooms with required equipment and supplies

Monitor patients and report any changes in condition

Clean and disinfect rooms and specialty equipment

Transport equipment as needed

Maintain inventory and restock supplies
