Shift Schedule: Candidates must have open availability to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift as scheduled. Shift schedules are given to workers a week in advance.
1st 6:30AM to 3:00PM – Pay $18.00
2nd 2:30PM to 11:00PM – 10% increase Pay $19.80
3rd 10:30PM to 7:00AM – 15% increase Pay $20.70

Core essential skill sets to be considered for the role:
1. Bilingual in Spanish
2. Experience as a phlebotomist
3. Must have a current CPR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation card

JOB DESCRIPTION
R&D Technician I

3. Must have a current CPR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation card
The role of the Research Technician is to serve as an integral member of the site and study
team during study processes, including pre-admit, admission, orientation, conduct,
discharge and study close.
Essential functions:
Preforms, conduct procedures in strict compliance to the study protocol. Good Clinical Practice Standards, Standard Operating procedures (SOPs), QA/QC procedures, OSHA guidelines and other state and Local regulations as applicable.
Provides Assistance in the executions of Clinical trials
Ensures the well-being and safety of study participants
Provides administrative and operational support
Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or GED and ADVANCED MEDICAL PROCEDURE TRAINING or PHLEBOTOMIST certification is required.
Experience:
One to two years of experience in a clinical environment
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Other pertinent qualifications/skills/knowledge necessary to
perform the essential functions of the job)
Able to obtain vital signs and perform ECOs
Research Technician:
Able to perform telemetry and insertion of intravenous catheters, or a willingness to
learn
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to work independently and handle multiple competing priorities
Able to work with tight deadlines
Able to function independently within a team environment
Excellent organizational and time-management skills and a strong attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Incumbents in this class are
subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting
materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Physical Demands:
Bending and leaning up to 1.5 hours - changing position approximately every 2 minutes
Variable hours including nights and weekends
Work Environment:
Predominantly clinical conduct environment
