Phlebotomist II
Duration: 3 months
Location: Ramsey MN
Shift: 9am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday
Covid vaccine required - YES
Pay Range - $24/hr - $25/hr
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients seeking health testing, whether routine or life-impacting. The PSR II is responsible for skillful, safe, and accurate blood sample collection, while creating an atmosphere of trust and professionalism. This role involves direct patient interaction and requires adherence to established practices and procedures in phlebotomy and specimen preparation.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, professional, and clean work environment.

Collect and process both forensic and clinical specimens following all procedures.

Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture.

Accurately label specimens in the patient’s presence to ensure patient safety and correct identification.

Maintain all required documentation and records.
-
Foster a positive image of the company to patients, clients, and the public.

Travel to and work from various locations as needed, including short-notice coverage.
Job Requirements:

Proven ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime.
