Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the company’s frontline representative, interacting directly with patients during routine health visits or important health decisions. The PSR I collects quality blood samples and prepares specimens for laboratory testing while following established protocols. The role requires creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and performing blood draws skillfully, safely, and accurately. The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to patient confidentiality and data accuracy.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

• Maintain a safe and professional environment.

• Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, following established practices and procedures.

• Maintain required records and documentation.

• Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.

• Flexible availability based on staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime).

• High school diploma or equivalent – Required

• Phlebotomy certification – Preferred

• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience – Required
