Recruiting Coordinator
Position Summary:
We are looking for an eager and highly organized Contract Recruiting Coordinator to join our Recruiting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of recruiting coordination experience, ideally within higher education or a similar mission-driven, service-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and able to make decisions with minimal direction. Prior experience with Workday ATS, along with strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics for candidates and hiring teams, including managing calendar invitations, Zoom/Teams links, and itineraries.
- Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and campus stakeholders to provide an exceptional candidate and hiring experience.
- Update and maintain requisitions and candidate records in Workday.
- Prepare and maintain reports and slide decks to support recruiting activities, including tracking metrics and generating summaries.
- Monitor shared inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Manage background checks, offer letters, and onboarding preparation, in partnership with HR teams.
- Maintain a high level of data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to recruiting initiatives and projects.
- Support recruiting events, job fairs, or campus-related hiring efforts as needed.
- New Hire Orientation facilitation a plus
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a recruiting or HR support role, preferably in higher education, nonprofit, or public sector organizations.
- Experience with Workday ATS is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to make independent decisions and work with limited supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to customer service.
- A collaborative, team-first approach with a can-do attitude.
