Clinical Business Analyst
Title: Clinical Business Analyst
Location: New York, NY 10041
Duration: 03/23/2026 – 05/16/2026
Schedule Notes: PREA required. Responsible for managing critical business processes, supporting end-users, ensuring application performance quality, delivering IT training, and leading the Call Down List Submission Process.
Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Setting: Correctional Health Services – IT Software Maintenance
Pay Range: $60-$65/hr.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in IT support, data processing, business analysis, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate with technical and non-technical users
- Strong organization, documentation, and task management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Project management experience
- Quality assurance or software testing experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
Job Summary
The Business Analyst serves as a key member of the CHS IT Department responsible for managing operational workflows, supporting users, and ensuring system performance quality. The role leads the Call Down List Submission Process and acts as the central IT point-of-contact for troubleshooting and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as IT owner and primary contact for Call Down List submission workflow
- Review, validate, troubleshoot, and ensure accurate data imports
- Monitor workflow, maintain documentation, and report activity trends
- Provide onboarding and refresher training for staff on CHS applications
- Support front-end users with access, usability, and workflow issues
- Escalate and track application errors and enhancements
- Perform QA and regression testing
- Validate reports and system updates and collaborate with project teams
