Job Description: MISSION:
Designs apparel products that will be created and sold to consumers. Includes original concepts, selection of appropriate color & materials, and modifications to ensure manufacturability. Elevates the consumer experience through superior product craft and pushes the limits of Design.
FOCUS:
Brings to life the seasonal category creative direction through apparel design and innovations that are trend relevant to the category consumer.
ACCOUNTABILITES:
_On key financial and statement models, uses
exceptional design skills to create original, innovative
concepts and designs that appropriately reflect
•** designs and applications.
_Works primarily autonomously on designs.
Creates cohesive collections.
_Executes all products details including construction detail, color, form, style, detail, fit performance, graphic application, trim, etc.
_Clearly communicates changes to ensure timely completion of each project.
_Effectively uses design support.
_Maintains healthy cross-functional relationships and builds matrix relationships outside of immediate team.
_Demonstrates curiosity and proactively enhances business acumen.
REQUIRED SKILL TO ADVANCE TO THIS LEVEL:
_Shares process and product finishing expertise across category and design function and influences others to evolve creative skills.
_Leads design product processes for assigned category or product group; ensures feasibility of designs, meeting price points, merchandising needs and product creation timelines. May have cross-divisional opportunities.
_Demonstrates expert understanding of products, product lines, product development process, and the specific markets in which *** does business.
_Creates the visual center for Silo or Product,
Storytelling around concept or Athlete that influences the overall seasonal direction.
_Demonstrates leadership that influences process change.

_Assumes a lead role in communicating and presenting creative strategies, product concepts, and consumer s insights to internal & external audiences.
_Continuously advances product, process, and design skills reflective of an expert design professional.

relations (understanding & collaboration in business
