Job description of the role or project story (What this role will be doing):
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal clients to identify and implement business process improvements through technology.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans to validate system functionality.
- Prepare support and training documentation.
- Provide second- and third-level application support for inquiries submitted to the IT Help Line.
- Maintain adherence to formal change management procedures.
- Utilize Quality Center for documenting and tracking work requests.
- Perform data analysis and troubleshoot application issues.
- Participate in compliance and regulatory efforts (e.g., NERC CIP, SOX).
- Support both capital projects and ongoing maintenance for multiple client areas.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience supporting technology projects and applications.
Proven experience in:
- Requirements gathering and documentation.
- Application testing.
- Process mapping.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead Business Systems Analysis work independently across various projects.
- Experience providing 2nd and 3rd-level application support.
- Skilled in using Quality Center or similar tools.
- Proficient in data analysis and troubleshooting application functions.
- Familiarity with formal change management processes.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:
- Experience working in compliance and regulatory environments, such as:
- NERC CIP.
- SOX.
