Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer
Location: Bronx, NY, 10461
Duration: 3 + Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: Saturday & Sunday doubles (8:00 AM – 12:00 AM); flexible 5th weekday shift
Schedule: 5 days/week, 7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week
Pay Rate: $64–$68/hr. on W2
Work Setting: Radiology Department
Position Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) performs diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring high-quality images for patient care. This role requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts, with a focus on patient safety and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general radiography procedures for diagnostic purposes
- Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and proper positioning
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and self
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care
- Participate in quality assurance activities and equipment maintenance as required
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of general radiographer experience
- Ability to work weekend and holiday shifts, including extended 16-hour shifts
- Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, safety, and patient care
Education:
- Completion of an appropriate Radiologic Technologist training program (Military training accepted)
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current ARRT certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist

Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS Certification
