Job Title: Inventory Clerk/Material Handling
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible extension)
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53224

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records through ownership of the cycle count program, reconciliation, and inventory adjustments in the ERP system.
  • Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy. Correct variances as needed.
  • Enter cycle count data into spreadsheets (Excel) to record findings.
  • Perform required duties to maintain accurate stock inventory records.
  • Perform required data entry into ERP system (SAP).
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and provide resolution.
  • Maintain the 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) program for your area.
  • Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in material handling/management as required by the FDA.
  • Submit recommendations to improve the cycle count process and record keeping. Report opportunities to improve efficiency and eliminate waste.
  • Responsible for following safety requirements by wearing required personal protective equipment and identifying and eliminating unsafe acts and conditions in the workplace.
  • Safely utilize powered lifts to access material.
  • Assist in the Materials department as needed.
Education/Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience within material handling or a related area.
  • Good math and reading skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral).
  • Must pass powered lift training within 3 months of hire.
  • Ability to be standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Capable of handling boxes and loads of material up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize critical priorities.
Preferred:
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous experience operating powered lift equipment such as forklifts.
