Job Description for HR Coordinator
This position supports the Human Resources Department in providing services to managers, employees and temp associates in California and Minnesota.

Primary Responsibilities
• Field employee questions and requests, referring to others as necessary
• Assist in the temp recruiting process including posting jobs openings, greeting candidates and following up hiring managers and staffing agencies
• Enroll new hires in timekeeping system
• Create and maintain all personnel files including conducting regular audits of all HR related data and information to ensure accuracy and data integrity
• Prepare new hire packets, termination packets and HRIS data entry
• Running labor reports as requested
• Managing birthdays and service anniversary recognition
• Assist with event planning and employee engagement activities
• Verifications of employment
• Invoice auditing
• Filing
• Other duties as required

Position Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year previous HR experience preferred (or combination of HR and Office Manager/Administrative Assistant experience)
• Previous manufacturing or medical device industry experience preferred
• Position requires strong administrative skills, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work with confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
• Position requires proficient use of grammar and business communication (both oral and written), and ability to create forms, reports, presentations and correspondence.
• Strong experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required
• Previous experience working with ADP payroll or Workday HRIS preferred
• Able to work overtime as required
• Able to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work in an efficient manner
• High school diploma required
• Degree and HR Certification preferred
• Pass drug and background check

Additional Job Details:
Filing & Data Entry, Auditing and I9 experience needed. Experience required: Microsoft Office and ADP Previous experience in HR [Preferred]
