Description/Comment:Position Summary/Mission
Performs a broad range of straightforward operational/financial activities in support of revenue or claim information.

Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to

Assists with the day-to-day maintenance and operations of assigned functional unit; under general supervision, performs straightforward aspects of the various operational accounting disciplines. (*)
Compiles and performs data review critical for analysis (i.e., root-cause, trend determination, etc.) associated with operational accounting workflows. (*)
Analyzes and verifies system results and/or error conditions to ensure accuracy, accountability and financial data integrity, within established unit timeframes. (*)
Balances and reconciles financial information with minimal guidance. (*)
Reports and forecasts business activity results. (*)
Initiates ideas for the development of technical policies and procedures of own unit in the performance of specific job functions. (*)
Administers business procedures ensuring compliance requirements are satisfied. (*)
Maintains effective collaborative relationship with customers and internal business partners to maintain a high performance culture.
Provides professional, prompt, and accurate service to all internal and external clients.
Assists in the training of, and/or provides guidance (with management oversight and direction) to, less experienced co-workers.
Recognizes and solves routine problems with moderate degree of supervision; evaluates and selects solutions using established procedures.

Provide best in class shared services to internal and external constituents in a cost effective manner for all products and segments. Perform timely and accurate operational and transactional accounting, plan sponsor and internal funding, forecasting and reporting for claims, claim overpayment recoveries, premiums/fees and accounts receivable.

Additional Job Details:TEMP TO HIRE POSITION. OK to submit off of Rate Card. Background/Experience Desired: Manager needs candidates with strong Excel and Analytical experience with preferred MS Access experience. If they are recent graduates, manager would prefer their degrees to be in Accounting or Finance. If they are not recent graduates, but have solid work experience, manager will consider other majors. Minimum of two years recent and related accounting, banking, and/or expense processing experience Education and Certification Requirements Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely-related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and recent and related experience.
