Job Description

We are operational 7 days a week and the 3 shifts we have are listed below:

1st shift: 6:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m.
2nd shift: 2:30 p.m. 11:00 p.m.
3rd shift: 10:30 p.m. 7:00 a.m.

The more days/shifts a candidate is available for the better.

The hours and days will vary so we are looking for candidates with a flexible schedule.

This position is responsible as the primary point of contact for study participants in all participant-related matters on the conduct floor. This position serves as an integral member of the site and study team. Essential Functions: Performs conduct procedures in strict compliance to the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality (QA/QC) procedures, OSHA guidelines and other state and local regulations as applicable. Oversees and monitors the well-being and safety of study participants. Facilitates verbal direction from Principal Investigator (PI); ensures follow-through. Provides ongoing assessment of the study subject/patient to identify Adverse Events (AEs); ensures proper documentation and reporting of all AEs. Enforces rules and regulations with study participants. Maintains compliant, clear and accurate study charts and documentation. Oversees the work of the research technicians and laboratory technicians on the conduct floor; provides leadership to the clinical study team in absence of study manager or supervisor. Provides Clientinistrative and operational support as a member of, and in support of, the site team. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Nursing degree, RN or LPN licensure in-State. Required Experience: o 1-3 years experience in a clinical environment OR hospital environment. o An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Certification/Licensure: ALS preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: (Other pertinent qualifications/skills/knowledge necessary to perform the essential functions of the job) o Able to obtain vital signs and perform ECGs. o Exceptional customer service attitude, public relation skills, professionalism and the ability to communicate appropriately and effectively, verbally and in writing, with participants from diverse backgrounds. o Ability to work independently and handle multiple competing priorities. o Ability to work with tight deadlines. o Able to function independently within a team environment. o Must have excellent organizational and time-management skills and a strong attention to detail. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Routine standing, walking, sitting. Lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Varied schedule including nights and weekends. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Predominantly clinical conduct environment. Non-supervisory, non-managerial.
