JOB DESCRIPTION

•** is looking for a talented and agile professional leader to oversee audience targeting and management for a growing retail media exchange (CMX). This role will join a multifaceted Marketing Analytics team focused on driving value to the retail business.

At Client, we partner with brands to help them grow their businesses by connecting them with our loyalty customers via our media exchange. The CMX program enables targeted digital media campaigns that improve shopper experiences with personalized content and support our partners in driving brand awareness and incremental sales in-store and online.

This Senior Consultant role will lead audience targeting strategy, segment creation, audience administration and insights to enable successful digital campaigns. This role will partner closely with Marketing Strategy, Sales and Media teams in developing and optimizing media exchange audiences to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in targeting with expertise in campaign management, lifecycle marketing, direct marketing and marketing technology. Experimentation and a customer-centric mindset are core to the program. Experience in retail or healthcare is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the day-to-day, hands-on execution of all audience targeting related activities (strategy, planning, building, pulling, testing and insights)
Serve as a primary point of contact between the Analytics team and the broader CMX team in the audience targeting area
Lead the audience strategy meetings with suppliers and define the targeting strategy based on campaign objectives
Develop, analyze and interpret audience data and convert that data into actionable insights (e.g. sizing, distribution, and attributes)
Leverage audience insights to inform audience strategy and work closely with the Analytics resources to create custom audiences
Identify 1st and 3rd party audience segment definitions required for the media campaigns and create audience segments using the naming taxonomy standard established during governance
Work closely with IT to enhance data feed necessary for segment targeting and suppression
Manage audience syndications to various activation endpoints
Partner closely with business stakeholders in Marketing, Digital, Media, and Sales to identify opportunities and improve capabilities around audience development
Provide thought leadership and guidance in audience related activities
Support the Interpretation and presentation of closed loop results in a way that improves understanding and influences business action with a wide range of audiences

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Marketing analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience; or a Masters degree or equivalent in an analytic discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience
6+ years experience in Digital Media and Audience management
Hands on experience on tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, Big query, Snowflake and Redshift
3+ years experience in people management, with a track record of leading a highly effective group of business-focused professionals
Experience in managing audiences in Liveramp platform (ie, Safe Haven and Connect)
Demonstrated track record of analyzing and interpreting audience data to drive business results
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing channels, technologies, targeting approaches
Strong oral and written communication skills
High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail
