Key Responsibilities
-Customer Service: Handles daily advertisement policy questions from internal stakeholders. Enforces policies and responds to a wide array of requests with a sense of urgency and positive action.
-Collaboration: Engages cross-functionally with a wide range of people with different skill sets to ensure compliance with advertising policy guidelines in a timely manner, leveraging new or existing tools, and partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product Operations and Support Operations team and other groups to drive projects.
-Process Improvement: Leverages available technology and products to streamline ad policy request process so it is more efficient, transparent and measurable and continuously gathers feedback from users to improve the experience.
-Research: Reviews policies of other retailers and researches industry best practices and advancements to proactively identify gaps and areas for improvement. Communicates and builds consensus for recommendations that are based on results of research.
-Influential Communication: Distills complex information clearly and accurately and addresses ambiguity in a positive and constructive manner. Seeks and provides constructive feedback, anticipates needs/questions, and responds proactively. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs.
-Analysis: Measures request pipeline and reports out to stakeholders on quantity of approved/rejected/open projects and business impact of each. Develops tracking methodology and processes.
-Adheres to Company Policies: Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans
Position Summary:
This position will work cross functionally with sales, account management, legal, creative and privacy to ensure advertising campaigns are aligned with Client brand requirements and CMX's advertising policy. The analyst will manage inbound requests, answer questions, write and socialize ad policies, iterate on existing processes and measure pipeline efficacy.
Duties:
As outlined in the attached job description, the Ad Policy Analyst will be responsible for several key functions, including:
- Providing critical customer service by handling daily advertisement policy questions from internal stakeholders and driving improvements to customer-facing functionality.
- Facilitating essential cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product Operations, Legal, Privacy and Support Operations to ensure timely compliance with advertising policy guidelines and drive key projects.
- Conducting industry research and analysis to improve existing policies
- Communicating policy changes and decisions with cross functional teams, proactively addressing needs and questions and providing expert guidance on policy application.
Experience:
Interest in online advertising regulations, policies, risk prevention and management
Organizational and project management skills, ability to prioritize
Experience researching and analyzing complex issues
Detail-oriented, with an ability to distill the complex to simple
Consistent, objective, data and revenue-driven point of view when making decisions often
in ambiguous situation.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
High proficiency with Workfront/JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite
Education:
Bachelor's Degree with work experience in similar or related field.
